Something is off with their mocha sauce. The mocha's are terrible. Usually when I get a mocha, the syrup remaining in the bottom of the cup is chocolaty and sweet. When I dumped out my mocha from this location, the syrup remaining at the bottom of the cup had no sweetness to it whatsoever. I wonder if it comes pre-made, or if they mix it up on location? Check your mocha sauce Starbucks. Something is wrong with it.
Delicious coffee and tea served well and with competence. Best baristas around! What more can you ask? The app is wonderful, and the Sterling location is now listed. Don't forget to join the rewards program. Beautiful shop, will be going there often!****Addendum: have now gone to this great coffeehouse many times. My orders were correct and the wait was minimal. Pleased to note that the 'over-roasted' taste from Starbucks of yore(talking decades here) is no more. The coffees are smooth and luscious! The Holiday Spice Flat White is my current favorite.
The staff at this new Sterling Starbucks did an excellent job with the customers and orders on the first day. Even during the morning rush, I was greeted with a "good morning, welcome to Starbucks" as I entered the store. I ordered multiple drinks and my order came out perfect. The workers were efficient and friendly, and one even helped me take the trays of drinks out to my car. This Starbucks crew appeared to handle the large crowds and drive-thru lines with ease on this busy opening day. I will definitely be a return customer.
If I could give them zero stars I would. I waited for my small coffee for 45 minutes. Everyone else around was waiting also. I understand the rushes of a new business opening but the workers have no sense of urgency! Hopefully they figure out how to speed up before the holiday season kicks in! Very disappointed!
I have dreamed about the day when Starbucks would finally open a location in Sterling, so that I wouldn't have to drive 45 minutes to get my fix. So I was super excited to learn we were finally getting a store. I know the staff is new, but I've been to this location about 10-12 times now...and I've only had one mocha that tasted like it should. Even when I asked them to remake it on one occasion, it was still off. I go to Starbucks about twice a week at other locations, and I never have this issue. I hope they get it together. I'll try back in a month or so to see if things have improved. If you go there right now.... prepare to be disappointed.
